D.N.I. requirements

ISSUE OF THE FIRST D.N.I.

Eligibility Requirements:


 

  • Original Birth Act with parents' name and surname, issued during the latest 6 months

  • 1 recent photo (size 4 x 4), taken from the front, half-length, open face, in colour, against a white background

  • Presence of 2 witnesses, with their identity card

  • Make an appointment by calling this number: 02-777.294.40, from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 3.50 p.m.

  • Payment of the relevant fee


 

Delivery: as soon as it is sent by the Registro Nacional de las Personas (obout 6/8 months)


REPLACEMENT OF D.N.I. IN CASE OF EXPIRY, LOSS OR THEFT
Eligibility Requirements:

 

  • Make an appointment by calling this number: 02-777.294.40, from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 3.50 p.m.

  • D.N.I. or, in case of lack, photocopy of an Argentine document in good preservation

  • If D.N.I. 14 years old update was not intervenued: Birth Act and original D.N.I. of one parent, if greater than 18 years; Birth Act and presence of 2 witnesses with their D.N.I., if greater than 21 years

  • Payment of the relevant fee.


 

Delivery: about 2 months


D.N.I. 8 YEARS OLD UPDATE
Eligibility Requirements:

  • Original Birth Act with parents' name and surname. Birth Certificates are not accepted

  • D.N.I.

  • Make an appointment by calling this number 02-777.294.40, from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 3.50 p.m.

  • The minor must be accompanied by at least one of the parents

  • Payment of the relevant fee

Delivery of documents: about 2 months

D.N.I. 14 YEARS OLD UPDATE
Eligibility Requirements:


 

  • Original Birth Act with parents' name and surname. Birth Certificates are not accepted

  • D.N.I.

  • Original D.N.I. of one parent, if greater than 18 years

  • Presence of 2 witnesses with their DNI, if greater than 21 years

  • The minor must be present

  • Make an appointment by calling this number: 02-777.294.40, from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 3.50 p.m.

  • Payment of the relevant fee

Delivery of documents: about 2 months


CHANGE OF ADDRESS

Implies the request of a new D.N.I. (see "REPLACEMENT OF D.N.I. IN CASE OF EXPIRY, LOSS OR THEFT")
